Electrical engineers possess deep technical, quantitative and analytical abilities. They are also innovative designers with a keen interest in leveraging technological advances to improve electrical systems and devices. Critically, they have the communications skills to work on large, interdisciplinary teams that manage complex projects from start to finish. At the graduate level, the program is designed for students with strong skills in engineering, mathematics and the physical sciences, as well as capabilities in programming and a solid proficiency in major areas of electrical and computer engineering and science.
