What do Biology majors do?
Skill Set:
Biology majors achieve a broad understanding of living systems at all scales, and the ability to see connections between them (for example, the links between environmental factors, genetics, and human health). They must gain an interdisciplinary perspective, and a good understanding of the tools behind modern scientific discovery, such as experimental design, statistics and computation. And because biology touches our lives every day, biologists must also learn to communicate with each other, with policy makers, and with the public.
