What do majors do?
Skill Set
Biostatistics majors combine knowledge of experimental design and computational and data-analytic practices with the ability to communicate effectively with health professionals and pharmaceutical researchers. From drug testing to public health programs, biostatisticians use math to make lives better; their work is motivated by questions relating to the health of people—as individuals or members of a population.
