What do Forensic Science majors do?

With a sound foundation in chemistry, biology and law, forensic scientists apply their strong analytical skills to conduct a wide range of investigative research for local, state, or federal crime and investigative laboratories. Graduates are highly-skilled and trained to apply the latest analytical instrumentation and techniques used for trace evidence analysis, DNA identification, forensic microscopy, quality assurance, chain of custody procedures, and importantly, expert witness courtroom testimony.
