Campus Wide Notification System

The Campus-Wide Notification System (CWNS) allows NJIT to communicate important information on an expedited basis with students, faculty, staff, and non-NJIT personnel via text message, phone and email.

The CWNS complements other communication channels such as broadcast emails, the NJIT website, postings across campus, and local media. It's used only for situations such as delayed opening or closings caused by weather, or potential, imminent threats to the safety of the university community.

NJIT students, faculty and staff can opt to participate in the system by providing phone numbers and email addresses to which the CWNS can send text messages, voicemail and email.

All contact info in the CWNS is confidential and will not be shared with other NJIT offices or third-parties, except when responding to an emergency.
