Students who have been admitted to the following on-campus Bachelor’s degree program for the Fall 2020 semester, but who are experiencing some type of visa delay, travel restrictions or concerns regarding relocating to the Newark, NJ area.

We understand that many factors affecting your arrival in the U.S. may be last-minute and unpredictable. If you are interested in considering this option for the fall semester, please complete the required form below to receive further information. We will work with each admitted student on a case by case basis to identify the right plan of action and deadlines for moving forward. You will still have the option to pursue your studies on-campus if circumstances allow!
Students who enroll in the Flex Path program for the fall 2020 semester will not require an I-20 at this time. An I-20 will be issued for the semester in which you plan to enroll for on-campus study. Students who plan to attend on-campus classes for the spring 2021 semester must submit financial documents and the NJIT Application for I-20 dated AFTER June 1, 2020. We will begin to issue I-20’s for spring 2021 beginning in September.
Students who will enroll in Flex Path who have already received an NJIT I-20 will be issued an updated I-20 upon submission of updated financial documents dated after June 1, 2020. The current fall 2020 I-20 cannot be used for future semesters.
Fall 2020: Eligible students will receive one course for free.

International Flex Path students will receive a scholarship that will reduce their tuition by approximately $500 per credit, to that of an in-state student.

Note: The normal per-credit cost for international students is $1,802. Flex Path offers a discount of approximately $500 per credit or $1,500 per 3 credit course!
Academic scholarships for the fall 2020 semester will not apply to the Flex Path program. All students taking Flex Path will avail of the above noted scholarship to reduce costs to in-state tuition. Scholarships that were previously granted for on-campus study will be carried forward to commence with the first semester on-campus.
