Manages and supports faculty lifecycle from recruitment to onboarding, annual evaluation, promotion and tenure, sabbaticals and emeritus status.
Develop processes for promotion materials, maintain oversight of the promotion and tenure committees, and oversee the workflow and timelines for candidate reviews at the department, college, and university levels.
Supports faculty achievement and recognition processes, including special designations such as distinguished professors, professor emeritus, and endowed chairs.
Develops and coordinates faculty policies and procedures, including annual evaluations, mentoring, conflict resolution, and grievance processes.
Facilitates faculty development opportunities by identifying recognition awards, scholarships, fellowships, teaching enhancement activities, enhancement courses, and leadership and professional development programs.
Collaborates with the Faculty Senate, the PSA, HR and other NJIT offices to support faculty while fostering a supportive community
Provides the fundamentals of faculty development through evidence-based foundational workshops and practical skills for faculty advancement.
Hosts campus workshops & leadership training to help departments and colleges comply with university requirements, including conflict of interest policies and mandatory university and college-wide faculty training.
