Graduate Level: Graduate students (all colleges and majors)

All international graduate students are required to attend the virtual international student orientation in order to prepare for their first semester at NJIT.

New International Student Orientation will be held virtually.

Orientation will include:
  • An online orientation platform
    • Everything you will want to know about NJIT!
  • Virtual academic advising session
    • Your academic advisor will discuss the courses you need to take during your first semester, your NJIT curriculum, and an overview of the major and the department.
  • Optional webinars
    • Learn more information about applying for a visa, planning your arrival in NJ, and more!
    • Connect with the staff to ask any questions you may have.
Through participation in orientation you will:
  • Get acquainted with the important resources to be successful at NJIT​​.
  • Hear about how to get involved in student organizations, clubs, service opportunities, and much more.
  • Learn more about student life as a campus resident or commuter.
  • Meet and connect with NJIT staff who will be assisting you throughout your program.
