Undergraduate Level: Transfer students

Transfer students are required to attend the virtual orientation in order to prepare for their first semester at NJIT.

Transfer students are those students starting at NJIT for the first time as undergraduates/bachelor’s students, but they have taken college classes in the US or abroad and will be transferring credits to NJIT.

New International Student Orientation will be held in an online format.

Orientation will include:
  • An online orientation platform
    • Everything you will want to know about NJIT!
  • Registration event if you have not already registered for your Fall courses
    • The link to these events will be posted by mid-June.
  • Optional webinars, panels, and Q&A sessions
    • Learn more information about the resources and departments on campus and have a chance to hear from students.
  • Orientation Leader-led discussion boards and activities
    •  You will have many ways to communicate with your orientation leaders to ask any questions you may have.
    • Participate in online activities to connect with other incoming students.
Through participation in orientation you will:
  • Get acquainted with the important resources to be successful at NJIT​​.
  • Connect with orientation leaders who will help guide you and share their experiences as students.
  • Learn about your major and courses from your advisor.
  • Hear about how to get involved in student organizations, clubs, service opportunities, and much more.
  • Learn more about student life as a campus resident or commuter.
  • Meet and connect with other incoming students.
