1-2 pm | Online Exam Proctoring Options: This session is taken from the Summer 2020 training series. When authentic assessment is not an option, online exams can be proctored in one of four ways: Respondus Monitor and Lockdown Browser, ProctorU Review+, ProctorU Live, and Webex. This session will help faculty become familiar with the classroom technology used for converged learning, including what they can expect in the room, and what the students (remote and in person) will be able to see and hear. 1-2 pm | Humanize Your Online Course with VoiceThread: Creating engaging online courses is not easy. In many discussion-board based courses, students feel isolated and disconnected from their instructors and classmates. VoiceThread bridges the gaps in social presence typically found in online courses. In this workshop, educators will learn how to establish a social presence and connect with their students using VoiceThread to improve course satisfaction and student learning. We will cover all of the basic VoiceThread features, show how everything works in your LMS, showcase a variety of examples from real courses, and have an open Q&A throughout the session.
