Welcome to the Learning Communities at the New Jersey Institute of Technology! We are so excited to have you join to our amazing community and help you adjust to college life at NJIT. Our Learning Communities (LC) are committed to supporting new students in their academics, social integration and overall transition to NJIT. Through our First Year Seminar course, new students are grouped together based on their academic college and major to build lasting relationships with one another. Between a student's first year seminar, student peer mentor, academic advisor and the support of faculty and staff, our students have a wealth of opportunities to get connected and involved in activities directly related to their major. Throughout the fall and spring semester, our students have the room and freedom to develop their potential no matter their major, background or interests with the help of the Learning Communities program.
