Provides the skills and tools needed to analyze business models and apply core business concepts toward solving tactical and strategic problems.
This four-course module uses shared business cases and a shared knowledge base that are accessible throughout the program, allowing students to review material from courses that they have completed and providing an integrated perspective to business solutions.
Students in the Management Essentials Graduate Certificate Program will learn a wide range of leadership and management skills in addition to the following skills:
Management accounting (break-even analysis, profit planning, transfer pricing and more).
Corporate finance (asset investment, pricing theory, and capital structure).
Global market competition.
Information systems principles (personnel resources and budgets, integration of corporate and MIS plans, intermediate and long-range MIS plans, security and controls, and more).
