Dr. Teik C. Lim started as the 9th President of the New Jersey Institute of Technology on July 1, 2022. Dr. Lim also concurrently holds the Distinguished Professor of Mechanical Engineering. Prior to NJIT, Dr. Lim led the University of Texas at Arlington (UTA) since early 2020 as the interim president and was Provost and Vice President for Academic Affairs from 2017-2020.
