"I work with tutors at the Clayton Learning Center because this is how I learn. This is how it sinks in." David Hrynkiewicz - Construction Management Technology
Tutors and group facilitators are undergraduate upperclassmen and graduate students recommended by departmental faculty and selected for their academic proficiency. These students help their peers develop effective strategies for completing ongoing course assignments. They work on identifying and clarifying key concepts, organizing and managing course information, note taking, problem-solving, integrating textbook knowledge and lecture notes and preparing for exams. The ultimate goal of tutoring is to help tutees become self-sufficient and successful in their current and future studies.
