The NJIT CARE Team is a campus resource dedicated to assisting students who may be in distress or experiencing challenging or difficult life circumstances.

Faculty, staff, and students play an invaluable role in helping students in distress.
Your expression of interest, concern, and compassion is an important factor toward a student seeking the assistance they need.
The primary focus of the CARE Team is to take a proactive approach in identifying students who are struggling and provide early intervention, resources, and referrals, both on campus and in the community. A report may avert serious difficulties and ensure the safety of both the student and the NJIT community.
The CARE Team also provides consultation and intervention when students exhibit aggressive, concerning, or disruptive behaviors.
Contact Sean Dowd, Senior Associate Dean of Students & Chair of NJIT's CARE Team, for questions or consultation.
