Benazir Islam is currently pursuing a Master of Science in Business Analytics at the New Jersey Institute of Technology (NJIT) and holds a Bachelor of Engineering in Computer Science with a specialization in Big Data Analysis from Chandigarh University, with expertise in data analytics, predictive modeling, and statistical analysis. Her research focuses on machine learning, deep learning, and data-driven applications, particularly in recommendation systems and music classification. She has explored collaborative filtering techniques and Generative Adversarial Networks (GANs) to enhance recommendation algorithms and refine automated music genre classification.
In addition to her academic pursuits, Benazir serves as a graduate assistant at the Center for Educational Innovation and Excellence (CEIE) at NJIT. She conducts research on educational best practices, manages website content, and develops engaging social media content to promote CEIE’s initiatives. She is also interested in educational technology, cognitive process theory, and AI-driven solutions for faculty development and student-centered learning.
