Your application will be evaluated as soon as your file is complete. You will be notified of our decision within 10 to 15 business days.
Graduate Students
NJIT employs rolling admissions, so your application will be evaluated once it is submitted, and all requirements have been completed. The following priority application deadlines have been established for the upcoming terms:

The deadlines above are considered priority deadlines. If a priority deadline has passed, you may still be able to be considered for admission for your intended start term. We encourage applicants to submit their applications as soon as possible and monitor the status of their application on the applicant status page.
Ph.D. Applicants
Students who apply and submit all supplemental materials prior to the cutoff dates will be given priority consideration for funding.
International Applicants
It is recommended that international students begin the application process six months prior to the start of the semester to allow sufficient time for processing international credentials and applying for a student visa.
There are also final cutoff dates for each semester, by which all the application requirements must be completed:
