International Student Health Insurance Requirements

Mandatory student health insurance will be charged for all F-1 and J-1 students excluding sponsored students (see list below).
The mandatory student health insurance charge will include 1-week early arrival insurance for all new incoming F-1 and J-1 students to cover the International Student Orientation program.
NJIT’s Health Services Office reserves the right to verify benefits and coverage periods with each sponsor contacts and will list them on our website.
