Business and Information Systems Implementation
Changes in information technology have been substantial in recent years; such as, analysis, design and programming have become "object-oriented" and information systems are impacted by concerns for privacy, ethics, intellectual property, and compliance issues.
Who would be suited to take this program?
This certificate is designed for systems analysts, systems consultants, project managers, and development team leaders. Besides learning about IS topics such as databases, application development tools, web design, software use and evaluation, management information, and decision support systems, students will learn such business topics as accounting, finance, financial products, business operations, and marketing.

Prerequisites
NJIT's standard admission requirements apply to this graduate certificate. In addition, non-elective courses within the program require:
- Advanced web-based programming skills
- An understanding of object-oriented programming concepts such as encapsulation, inheritance, and polymorphism
- Experience with C++
- Knowledge of a higher-level programming language and a computer system
