NJ Transit Student Discount Program

NJIT has partnered with NJ Transit to offer students the opportunity to purchase a bus, rail or light rail monthly pass via the NJ Transit Mobile App at significantly discounted rates.

Transportation

The NJ Transit Student Pass program is ran by NJ Transit.  NJIT Student Life coordinates the verification of student status for program eligibility.  The program allows NJIT students to purchase NJ Transit monthly passes at a significant discount.  Students must be verified as being registered for classes in order to enroll (or re-enroll) in the discounted program.

In order to enroll in the program (with automated verification of student status), log into to the NJIT Highlander Pipeline at http://my.njit.edu.  Click on the NJ Transit Student Pass link located in the Parking & Transit Services section and follow the on screen instructions.
