The Dean of Students is an advocate for students outside the classroom. For instance, have you been ill and can’t attend class? You may want to submit a Request for Absence Excusal to help notify your professors. Do you have a complicated situation involving multiple places and/or people around campus? This may be the first stop when trying to figure out how to navigate issues that may be impacting your academics. The Office of the Dean of Students can help with many situations. If they can't help with the situation themselves, they will connect you with the person who can.
