We've added new buildings at a steady pace for the last two decades—most recently the Joel & Diane Bloom Wellness and Events Center (WEC), Life Sciences and Engineering Center, and Central King Building (formerly Central High School).
Once you're here, we encourage you to take a campus tour, soak up some sun on the rooftop gardens, check out our technology-filled classrooms and research facilities, or stroll through the libraries. If you have time, we encourage you to see what’s new in Newark.

We offer you the opportunity to be a part of a learning community in the most desirable fields of study.
We're proud of our facilities, but the most important part of our campus is its people. Wander around for a while and you might come upon students clearing their minds in an intramural volleyball game, testing their skills at the annual video game development expo, or working out tunes on the Campus Center's baby grand. Time your visit just right and you could catch a Highlanders home game or a performance at the Jim Wise Theatre. To find out what's happening now, visit the events calendar.
However you choose to spend your spare time at NJIT, we have the facilities to make you feel at home.
