Transfer agreements provide students a smooth transition from a community college to NJIT by treating the credits as equivalents. Credits will still be evaluated on a course-by-course basis depending on your degree program and curriculum. Course equivalency information may also be viewed at NJ Transfer.
Joint Admissions agreements allow students who meet certain admissions criteria to be admitted to a community college and NJIT at the same time. As a result, these schools require students to complete the first two years of their studies toward a bachelor’s degree at the community college and guarantee that their credits will transfer with junior status.
