Voices of Sustainability at NJIT

The 2025 Strategic Plan established sustainability as a part of the university’s Institutional Learning Goals (ILGs) and one of NJIT’s core pillars as an institution. The 2030 Strategic Plan continues to highlight sustainability as a core value of NJIT and establishes sustainability as one of the cornerstones of innovation and invention that will be fostered by the institution in its plan to become a nexus of innovation.

As a result, there are many organizations across NJIT working on a plethora of projects and initiatives all revolving around sustainability. If you are a student looking to engage with sustainability on campus, or if you have ideas for more projects and initiatives that may help turn NJIT into a more sustainable campus, these are some of the other organizations to look to.
