NJIT does not determine eligibility for educational benefits. Applications must be submitted to the VA or the DOD and they will determine eligibility.

The initial application process with the VA can be a lengthy one. We suggest applying for your benefits prior to or immediately upon acceptance to NJIT. (You can speak to NJIT Admissions about waiving the NJIT admissions application fee for Veterans).
Once you are accepted to NJIT, you can schedule an appointment to meet with Allison Babinski Babinski@njit.edu if you have questions about the VA application process.
For any new students or transfer students, all transcripts from previous institutions must be submitted to the Registrar’s office as soon as you are accepted to NJIT. This includes any military transcripts.
