Students currently or previously enrolled in another university looking to take courses at NJIT as visiting (non-matriculated) students during the winter.
NJIT welcomes visiting students (also called "non-degree" or "non-matriculated" students) who are or were enrolled at other colleges/universities, NJIT alumni, as well as students seeking professional development or personal enrichment. Registration begins on Monday, October 7, 2024 at 8:30 a.m.
How to Enroll in Winter Courses
1. Complete the online application. Indicate which course you are interested in being reviewed for this winter. List of winter courses can be found here. Be sure to select 'Winter 2024' in the dropdown menu.
2. After submitting your online application, you will be able to upload your current and/or all past college transcripts through the document uploader.The application and the transcript(s) complete your application file. Unofficial copies are acceptable.
3. Once admitted, you will be asked to create your University Computing ID (UCID). Please allow at least 24 hours after your admittance to create a UCID. The UCID will grant you access to NJIT’s campus portal – the Highlander Pipeline.
4. Register for the class online through the Highlander Pipelineor in person at the NJIT Registrar Office. Instructions on registering for classes online can be found here.
