Fall 2024 - New Domestic Graduate Student Orientation
Fall 2024 New Domestic Graduate Student Orientation*
Welcome to NJIT! We are pleased you will be joining us this Fall!
The Fall 2024 New Domestic Graduate Student Orientation (for domestic students) will take place in person on August 28, 2024. All new domestic students will receive an invitation to join us for an introductory event regarding graduate education at NJIT. The new graduate student orientation is a joint effort by the NJIT Graduate Studies and the Graduate Student Association (GSA) designed to get you off to a good start in your graduate school experience. The event provides information about the resources available to you at NJIT. You will have an opportunity to learn about the graduate education programs, processes for academic issues, recommendations for success, available graduate resources, and NJIT services.
If you are unable to attend in-person, we also offer the self-guided online orientation which will provide information about the resources available to you as a graduate student at NJIT, summarize graduate policies and procedures, and provide guidance for success in your studies.
Activate your NJIT UCID to confirm attendance for this upcoming Fall. You will need a NJIT UCID in order to access the self-guided online orientation. Remember that your NJIT ID is different from your Student ID Number.
We are here to help you succeed at NJIT!
*Please note: This is an orientation for domestic students only. Incoming international students have a separate virtual orientation hosted by the Office of Global Initiatives.
