Graduate School Stipend

Students selected for this award are expected to have demonstrated outstanding potential for graduate school.  Also, the ability to complete their degree ina timely manner, personal and professional integrity, will abide by the rules and regulations of the University now existing or existing in the future, and are in good academic standing. Students must be interested in pursuing a M.S. or Ph.D. degree.

You must be a full time NJIT senior-level student with a major in any of the following LSAMP classified STEM disciplines:

  • Agricultural Sciences
  • Chemistry
  • Computer Science
  • Engineering
  • Environmental Science
  • Geosciences
  • Life/Biological Sciences
  • Mathematics
  • Physics/Astronomy


Students must be a U.S. Citizen or Permanent Resident and:

  • African American/Black
  • American Indian/Alaska Native
  • Native Hawaiian/Pacific Islander
