Spring Opportunity Program (SOP)

SOP 2025 Welcome Event - August 15th (VIRTUAL EVENT!)

You have been admitted as an Undeclared major in the College that you wish to pursue your degree in. 

If you wish to enter the College of Science and Liberal Arts (CSLA) or the Ying Wu College of Computing (YWCC), you will be admitted as an Undecided CSLA (UDSL) major or Undecided College of Computing (UDCC) major. 

If you wish to enter the Marting Tuchman School of Management (SOM), you will be admitted as a Business B.S. major and work with your advisor to choose a concentration.

If you wish to enter the Newark College of Engineering (NCE), you will be admitted as a General Engineering B.S. major until you meet the criteria to change to the Engineering major of your choice. 

If you applied for a major within the Engineering Technology (ET) program, you will be admitted within that major (please visit https://appliedengineering.njit.edu/academics for a list of ET majors). 

Admission to a major within the Hillier College of Architecture and Design (HCAD) is limited and based on the evaluation of a portfolio.
