$500 Incoming First-Year Math: Available to incoming Fall 2024 first-year students who place into MATH 107, MATH 108 or MATH 110 (after taking the NJIT Placement Test) and enroll in that same class in Summer 2023
$500 Incoming Transfer: Available to incoming Fall 2024 transfer students who enroll in a 3- or 4-credit course in Summer 2024 (no course limit.)
$500 Select Current Students in MATH, PHYS, CHEM: Available to continuing NJIT students enrolled in the following courses in Spring 2024: MATH 107, MATH 110, MATH 111, MATH 112, PHYS 111/121 and/or CHEM 125/126 who receive a final grade of D or F and repeat that same course in Summer 2023.
Biology Discounts: Available to all students who enroll in BIOL 200, BIOL 205/206, BIOL 315, BIOL 340, BIOL 350, BIOL 375, and/or BIOL 484 in Summer 2024 (discount is approximately $154 per credit).
$500 Non-Resident Visiting Student:Available to non-New Jersey residents* who enroll in a 3- or 4- credit course in Summer 2024 as visiting/non-matriculated students (no course limit). *More information on how residency is determined can be found here.
These grants will automatically be applied for qualified students. There is no need to apply separately for these grants.
All summer grants and discounts cannot be combined with another grant, scholarship, discount, tuition remission, and/or other forms of aid. The summer grants and discounts are to assist in funding tuition. All grants are subject to change at any point.
