Through this program, the ITE pairs a faculty member or university lecturer (mentee) with an ITE fellow (mentor) for the purpose of discussing:
State-of-the-art pedagogical approaches
Strategies for increasing student engagement
Improving his/her instructional delivery
The mentee meets with the mentor to discuss various topics and has the ability to visit and observe the mentor in his/her classes. The mentor may also invite the mentee's to visit his/her own classes. The mentor-mentee pairings are arranged by the ITE director. All pairings are kept strictly confidential and are assigned from a department other than of the mentee.
Colleagues interested in this program are asked to contact the Associate Director of ITE, John Carpinelli.
