Our residence halls are a community of approximately 2500 undergraduate and graduate students. NJIT has been a residential campus since 1978 when Redwood Hall opened its doors. Our residence halls are Redwood, Cypress, John Martinson (Honors), Laurel, Greek Village or Maple halls. Each building has a unique setup, so please take the time to view the information about each hall. All resident rooms are furnished with beds, dressers, lights, desks, closet space and chairs.
NJIT will be housing residents at Rutgers-Newark in Talbott Hall for the 2025-2026 academic year while Oak is under construction. View photos & video of Talbott Apartments HERE.
