NJIT Guest Housing (Until June 30, 2024)

NJIT Residence Life offers overnight guest accommodations for visiting scholars, faculty, alumni, and family of current students who have official business on campus in the Honors Hall. Each guest room offers space that can accommodate one to two people for short term stays. The maximum length of stay, pending available space, is three weeks. No pets allowed.

Room Amenities
Each guest space is temperature controlled, fully furnished and equipped with campus telephone service, high-speed internet (wired and wireless), cable service, and an en-suite full bathroom. Linen service is available upon request. Individuals and groups staying in NJIT Guest Housing also have access to an exclusive and spacious lounge off the main corridor. 

Guest Studios
Includes queen platform bed, side chair, bedside cabinet, mini fridge unit, dresser, and closet space.  Full bedding (pillows, sheets, blanket) and towels are provided.  

Guest Suite
Includes the above and also a separate living room area with sink, counter space, microwave and under counter refrigerator. 

Rates

Guest Studio: $90/night (4 rooms available)
Guest Suite:  $100/night (1 suite available)

To inquire about space availability, complete the Guest Housing Request Form at least two weeks in advance of your request.  You will need an NJIT UCID to complete the form.  If you do not have an NJIT UCID please ask the person you are visiting or working with at NJIT to complete the form.  Please note that you will receive a response within 72 business hours.

  • Is parking included in my reservation?  Yes, you will park in the Summit Street Parking Deck, located at 154 Summit Street, Newark, NJ 07102

  • Do I need to bring my own linen and towels?  Pillows, sheets, blankets and towel are included in your stay.

  • How long does it take to receive a response after I submit the Guest Housing Request Form?  Please allow for 72 business hours

  • Do the guest rooms have an iron or hair dryer?  Guests will want to bring these items with them if needed.
