Summer 2025 Housing
- Summer session 2025 housing is located in Maple Hall. Housing is made available to NJIT affiliated students, local interns, and affiliated conferences.
- NJIT students will complete an online housing application via the MyHousing Portal. Housing assignments will be sent out via email by the end of April 2025/
- Non-NJIT students/Interns complete a Non-NJIT Application. Housing assignments will be sent via email by Monday, May 5, 2025
- Please be sure to read and understand the Summer 2025 Terms and Conditions before submitting your application.
- Spring 2025 residents that continue into summer housing, but not returning to fall 2025 housing will check out after their summer classes end.
- 12-Month contract residents not returning for fall 2025; nor have summer classes checkout by July 31, 2025
- 12 month contracts will be charged an additional $500 for a single room and $750 for a studio.
SUMMER CANCELATION CHARGE – There is a $150.00 cancelation charge for all students canceling their summer contracts prior to check-in. Residents who have not taken possession of their room within 48 hours of the check-in date will forfeit their room assignment and will be charged the $150.00 cancelation fee in addition to losing their deposit, if any. Written notification from the University to a Resident of his/her removal and prohibition from University Housing may also terminate the contract.
Residents are strongly encouraged to have renters insurance for the property that they keep in their rooms. Please check to see if your family's homeowner's insurance will cover your belongings in your residence hall room. You may also contact Arthur J. Gallagher & Co. Insurance or National Student Services, Inc. for renters insurance.
