The Highlander Integrity Council (HIC) is an opportunity for students to help support the ethical mission of the NJIT community. Members of the council assist the Office of the Dean of Students with educating the community on the Code of Student Conduct through programming & events. These programs include the annual Highlander Integrity Week and our monthly Know Your Code tables.
Members of the council also serve as student members of the Student Conduct Hearing Board. After attending a training, board members are responsible for hearing cases of alleged violations of the Academic Integrity Policy and Code of Student Conduct, reviewing case documents and making determinations of responsibility.
