The Opening Ceremony celebration allows us to honor our history, our leaders, and our accomplishments, and unify collectively as people. Black History Month 2023, with the theme, "Embodying Black Excellence," offers opportunities to reconnect and celebrate the Black community's contributions.

Join NOMAS on February 2nd while we paint rocks with the names of victims of racism and systemic injustice in the United States. After that, we will lay them on the bench in the foyer and stick pictures of the people on the wall. This event will take place in honor of Black History Month.
