Instructional Videos and How to Make Them: Making video material for effective educational instruction takes a lot of time and effort. It does not require expensive tools. Except you. Given a computer with standard office-style tools, the additional equipment needed to make good instructional videos is a good microphone and a good video editing application. Two styles of instructional video are discussed, representing the quick and the impressive: Captured Handwriting (without the hand), and Video of the Book. How to Use the Converged Learning Classroom Technology: This session is taken from the Summer 2020 training series. This session will help faculty become familiar with the classroom technology used for converged learning, including what they can expect in the room, and what the students (remote and in person) will be able to see and hear.
